THC Design recently sponsored the “Recover By The Pool” event put on by Puff Dao at the Puff House in the Hollywood Hills. Puff Dao, created by Ashlee Belzo and Alex Engle is a cannabis DAO dedicated to collectively building and launching a cannabis brand as a community. They use membership NFTs to give access to governance, exclusive events and rewards.
The event’s theme was relaxation by the pool for members of the cannabis industry after 420, Coachella and House of Flowers to highlight health and wellness. The event featured pool side activations, 5X5 foot pizzas, a henna artist, tarot readings, and CBD massages.
THC Design was the sole flower provider at the event and set up a weed bar and rolling station in the house where our brand ambassadors rolled up joints for event guests. Our featured flower of the day was one of our signature cultivars, Crescendo. Crescendo is a Sativa-dominant hybrid bred by Ethos Genetics from Denver, Colorado. Featuring the combined powers of a Chem Dawg strain, I-95 strain, and Mandarin Cookies cross, the Crescendo strain has a very mellow and smooth smoke. The flavor comes straight from its Chem Dawg heritage, with a strong taste of diesel and earth, and a hint of citrus. The average THC level of Crescendo is 30-35% and the cerebral effect is pronounced, with a hazy and uplifting trip into the clouds that is mentally active, but not overly intoxicating.
Our brand ambassadors also doled out XJ-13 pre-rolls to guests around the pool and party on usherette trays. XJ-13 is the cultivar that built THC Design and originally it was what we were known for. A cross between Jack Herer and G13 Haze, XJ-13 is a Sativa-dominant flower that balances high levels of THC with Terpinolene, Caryophyllene, and Ocimene terpenes.
