The energy was electric, the clouds were thick, and the community was out in full force. This recent April 20th, the THC Design team headed to the heart of Las Vegas for the 420 State Fair at the legendary NuWu Cannabis Marketplace.
It wasn’t just about the games and the music, it was a celebration of the freedom and privilege we have to grow, sell, and consume this incredible plant alongside the community that makes it all possible.
Dominating the Green Ribbon Contest
The highlight of the weekend was undoubtedly the Green Ribbon Contest, where the best of the best went head-to-head for flower supremacy. We are incredibly proud to announce that THC Design took home two out of the three top awards!
- 1st Place: Crescendo – Our high-potency, terpene-rich Sativa took the top honors, proving once again why it’s a fan favorite for those seeking a smooth, diesel-heavy, and euphoric experience.
- 3rd Place: El Chivo – This heavy hitter secured its spot on the podium, recognized for its complex aroma and stunning bag appeal.
Winning these awards at a venue as iconic as NuWu, the only place in Vegas where you can legally consume on-site, is a testament to the hard work our cultivation team puts in every single day.
Meet Our Makers: Transparency in the Grow
At our booth, we didn’t just want to show off the finished product; we wanted to show the process. We hosted a “Meet our Makers” session where attendees got a behind-the-scenes look at our grow techniques.
From our sustainable practices to our rigorous phenotype selection, we loved answering your questions about what makes THC Design flower stand out in a crowded market. Education is the backbone of our brand, and the 420 State Fair provided the perfect platform to share our passion for the craft.
Masterpieces and Joint Rolling Contest: The Booth Highlights
We believe cannabis and creativity go hand-in-hand. That’s why we invited every attendee to “Design a Masterpiece” at our dedicated paint and design station. It was inspiring to see the community tap into their artistic side while enjoying the festivities.
For those who prefer a different kind of “art,” we hosted the ultimate Joint Rolling Contest. The challenge? Roll as many perfect joints as possible in exactly 4 minutes and 20 seconds. The competition was fierce, the fingers were flying, and the crowd was roaring.
