THC Design is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Post-Harvest Manager to oversee the post-harvest processes at our Las Vegas cannabis cultivation and production facility. The Post-Harvest Manager will ensure efficient and compliant management of post-harvest operations, including trimming, drying, curing, packaging, and compliance. This role will work closely with the Cultivation and Production teams to ensure high product quality and seamless workflow execution.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Oversee all post-harvest activities, including trimming, drying, curing, packaging, and inventory management.
• Develop, implement, and optimize post-harvest standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain product quality and compliance with state regulations.
• Coordinate with the Cultivation and Compliance teams to ensure smooth workflow, compliance with regulations, and proper documentation of each post-harvest phase.
• Manage and train post-harvest team members, ensuring adherence to SOPs, safety protocols, and company standards.
• Maintain detailed inventory records for all products through the post-harvest process, including waste management, ensuring compliance with METRC and other regulatory systems.
• Monitor environmental conditions (humidity, temperature, etc.) to optimize the quality of the drying and curing process.
• Collaborate with the Production and Packaging teams to ensure timely product transfer and prepare products for distribution.
• Conduct regular audits of the post-harvest area to ensure cleanliness, safety, and equipment functionality.
• Manage schedules, task assignments, and performance of post-harvest staff, ensuring efficient workflow and quality control.
• Assist in vetting long-term trimmers and other post-harvest team members to maintain a high standard of efficiency and quality.
• Track and report on post-harvest metrics, including product yield, processing time, and resource usage, to identify areas for improvement.
• Work closely with other departments, including cultivation and production, to manage workflow, ensure compliance, and optimize production timing.

Qualifications:  

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in post-harvest management or similar roles in cannabis cultivation, agriculture, or related industries.
• In-depth knowledge of cannabis trimming, drying, curing, and packaging processes.
• Strong understanding of cannabis compliance regulations, including METRC or similar track-and-trace systems.
• Proven ability to manage and train a team, ensuring high productivity and adherence to standards.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify areas for improvement in post-harvest processes.
• Experience with cannabis quality control, inventory management, and production scheduling.

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Experience in cannabis cultivation or production facilities.
• Familiarity with trimming machinery and automated processing equipment.
• Knowledge of state and local cannabis regulations.
• Experience in working in a highly regulated environment.
