Quality Standards, Small Carbon Footprint

We aim to set the standard for advanced cultivation practices and techniques while taking steps to create a self-sustainable operation via renewable energy resources.

Advancement in Science

By partnering with leading scientists in various fields, THC Design hopes to break new ground in the cannabis industry. We are committed to making scientific advances in identifying the roles of not only THC and CBD, but also the dozens of other compounds in cannabis that affect the patient. This will help us breed better plants that can acutely treat disease and ailments, all while producing safer quality medicine year in and year out.

Community & Advocacy

Building a community and contributing our voice to the cannabis industry is extremely important to us. We support national and local advocacy groups to address legalization, access, and research of cannabis. We meet with lawmakers and policy writers to ensure fairness in the ongoing organization and regulation of cannabis in California.

LEAD CONSULTANT

Ryan has been an ardent advocate for safe and quality cannabis for most of his life. Raised in Oklahoma during a time of cannabis prohibition, Ryan witnessed his father suffer from chronic migraines. Experiencing bad side effects from the synthetic drugs prescribed, Ryan’s parents believed they were extremely dangerous and were strongly against synthetic drugs for their children. With little to no access to safe cannabis, Ryan’s father was forced to continue managing his pain with prescription drugs which ultimately lead to his death at the age of 47.  Determined to prevent other families from suffering through similar tragedies, Ryan moved to California to be a part of the medicinal cannabis movement.

GENETICS SUPERVISOR

Jairia hails from Tulsa, Oklahoma with a passion for science. She was always interested in plants and living organisms which motivated her to attain her associate’s degree in Biology. Due to the economy at the time and the laws in Oklahoma, this single mother was forced to make the tough decision to move to California where she would be able to grow clean medicine and truly help people. In 2009, she joined her partner, Ryan, in Santa Cruz, California to do just that.

Through her success, Jairia has been able to proudly say she’s made a difference in not only the lives of the patients she’s produced cannabis for but her own family. They have now come to support her career as well as become open to utilizing the non-psychoactive forms of cannabis such as balms for pain and CBD pills to aid sleep.

Aside from being the Genetics Supervisor at THC Design, she is currently involved with Americans for Safe Access and has gone to the state’s capital to represent the city of Long Beach in lobbying for medicinal Cannabis laws.
